The police on Thursday arrested the safety security officer of the under-construction building where a 44-year-old artiste died while shooting for a Kannada film at Avalahalli near Yelahanka on January 9.
The police said the arrested person is Ashok Haldar. He was supposed to ensure the safety of the people entering the building.
He was not present on the premises when the incident took place. On Wednesday, Narasimha, manager of the film production unit, had been arrested.
There are more people named in the FIR and they will be arrested at the earliest.
