<p>The Viveknagar police have arrested a 27-year-old man on charges of molestation and robbery on Thursday. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The arrested has been identified as Suresh alias Raju, a resident of Chikka Kammanahalli on Bannerghatta Road, south Bengaluru.<br /><br />According to the police, the incident took place on the midnight of December 29, 2016, when a 26-year-old woman software engineer was walking to her PG accommodation in Ejipura. <br />She had just alighted from her company cab and was 500 metres away from her PG digs when the miscreant, who was on a motorcycle, grabbed her and molested her before making away with her phone. <br /><br />Caught on camera<br />A complaint was registered on the next day at the Viveknagar police station. <br />The police analysed the closed-circuit television camera footage and found that it was an act of a repeat offender. <br /><br />The accused has been remanded in judicial custody.<br /></p>
