<p>Bollywood actor Aditi Rao Hydari, who was last seen in Manish Jha’s ‘The Legend of Michael Mishra’ alongside Arshad Warsi, will soon be spotted playing Sanjay Dutt’s on-screen daughter in his comeback movie ‘Bhoomi’. <br /><br /></p>.<p>Earlier, the names of Alia Bhatt and Shraddha Kapoor were considered for the role. The movie explores the relationship of a father and daughter with elements of emotion and revenge.<br /><br />“We shortlisted Aditi because she’s in a good space right now. I love the way she emotes. This, unlike her other projects, will be her film. She’s a relatively untapped actor. The father-daughter relationship is an important aspect of the narrative in this revenge drama. Aditi’s face perfectly blends softness with a lot of strength. Besides, I like to team up people, who are unlikely to be cast together, in my movies,” said director Omung Kumar.<br /><br />“Aditi’s role goes hand in-hand with Dutt’s track in the film. His role is physically <br />demanding, while she will display an array of emotions. So, it’s important that they get along well.In fact, they are being trained by a diction expert for the dialect common in Agra”, added Kumar, who also bagged a National award for his directorial debut ‘Mary Kom’ (2015). Bhoomi is slated to release next year.<br /><br />On the working front, Aditi will be seen next in Sudhir Mishra’s ‘Aur Devdas’ and is also a part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’. Moreover, the actor is currently busy shooting for Tamil movie ‘Kaatru Vallyidai’, where she will also be assisting her <br />director, Mani Ratnam. <br /><br /></p>
