'Have asked AG to speak to Katarki'

Law Minister T B Jayachandra on Sunday said he had asked advocate general (AG) Madhusudan Naik to speak to Mohan Katarki, member of the state’s legal team in the Cauvery water dispute who resigned, to resolve the matter amicably.

Though Katarki refused to give the exact reason for his resignation, it is learnt that he was upset as he was not invited for a discussion with Fali S Nariman, which was attended by Water Resources Minister M B Patil, Law Minister Jayachandra and others.
