<div align="justify">Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has said that the quantity of foodgrains being supplied to Anna Bhagya beneficieries will be hiked starting from April 1, 2017.<br /><br />Addressing the gathering after inaugurating various development works here on Monday, the chief minister said, “The Anna Bhagya scheme has brought some relief to the people, who are reeling under drought. The effective implementation of the scheme has put a curb on migration of farmers and daily wagers to cities and towns.”<br /><br />On the appointment of Justice Vishwanath Shetty as Lokayukta, the chief minister said, “The Governor has sought clarifications but the government will not change its decision. We will send our replies to the Governor on the clarifications on Justice Shetty’s name,” he said.</div>
