Shoot swamis supporting corruption: Former V-C

Dejagow said it was no more a secret that some politicians stashed away black money in a few mutts. Swamis of those mutts have to be shot at, he stressed. “This holds mirror to the often heard complaints that corruption and adharma are on rise despite the presence of religious heads,” he added.

He also appealed to the swamis to keep corrupt politicians at bay to remain true to their deeds. Recalling an incident, where he had received a letter from a swami, Dejagow said that he had advised the swami not to entertain disgraced and drunkards in order to retain the sanctity of the mutt.
