Hunan will celebrate  ‘Chinese New Year’ with a special three-course menu with wine.

        
‘Chinese New Year’, known in modern Chinese as the Spring Festival, is an important Chinese festival celebrated at the turn of the traditional lunisolar Chinese calendar. Celebrations traditionally run from the evening preceding the first day, to the lantern festival on the 15th day of the first calendar month.

‘Hunan’ has come out with a new menu for the occasion. To begin with, relish a comforting bowl of soup and choose from the ‘Sweet potato and carrot soup’, ‘Chispy lotus stem’, ‘Spare pork ribs’, ‘Tofu with crabmeat’ or more.  Once you eat your way past the starters and soup, you can make way for the main course and choose from chef’s specials like ‘Four treasure vegetables in a garlic pepper sauce’, ‘Guangdong chicken’ , ‘Prawns with spicy XO sauce’ amongst others served with a choice of fried rice or noodles. The deserts range from the Hunan special ‘Red velvet cake’, ‘Chocolate molten cake’, ‘Daarsan with ice cream’, that is sure to leave you feeling happy.

The menu is offered for both lunch and dinner till February 5. It is priced at Rs 899 (exclusive of taxes).
