An incubator launched by non-profit The Nudge Foundation will give non-profit startups the opportunity to be mentored by business leaders of the country.

‘N/Core’ will be an incubator exclusively for startups working on poverty-related problems. The foundation will invest over Rs 50 crore to incubate 100-plus startups over the next five years.

Selected early-stage non-profits will receive guidance from a pool of mentors called ‘The Collective’  which has leaders from corporates, non-profits and startups. Anantha Padmanabhan, CEO, Azim Premji Philanthropic Initiatives, Amit Gupta, co-founder of InMobi are some of the mentors.

Atul Satija, founder and CEO of the Nudge Foundation said, “The magnitude of India’s poverty and related problems needs our entire generation to invest itself single-mindedly into solving this issue. With N/Core, we want to make it easier for the ones who care to jump in and do their bit.”
