JOIN USJ Suchith followed up his hundred with a three-wicket haul while Shimon Luiz claimed a fifer as Jawahar Sports Club scored a commanding 178-run win over Visweswarapuram Cricket Club in the YS Ramaswamy memorial tournament here.
Suchith struck 126 as Jawahar, batting first, posted a competitive 285 all out in 50 overs. Saurabh Godbole shone with the ball for Visweswarapuram grabbing four for 67.
Visweswarapuram found it hard to negotiate the Jawahar bowlers and faltered in their chase to fall short of the target by 178 runs. Shimon led the wickets tally with five for 11, while Suchith (3/30) and Nanda (2/7) accounted for the remaining wickets.
