A 29-year-old woman from Sanjaynagar in Bengaluru died earlier this month due to H1N1.
This is the first H1N1 death reported in the city this year. According to officials with the department of health and family welfare, the patient was admitted with high fever on January 29 at Manipal Hospital in the city. She died on February 3 of a multi-organ failure.
