JOIN USUnion Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal on Monday said AAP MP Bhagwant Mann, who she referred to as a drunkard, should get ready to be stoned by the people of Sangrur, whom he has deserted.
The food processing minister said Mann was talking about being stoned if the AAP did not fulfil its promise to the people of Punjab.
“Instead of daydreaming about an AAP government, Mann should get ready to be stoned by the people of Sangrur. He has failed to do anything for Sangrur. He has not brought even a single project to his constituency,” she said.
She said Mann is desperately trying to project himself as the chief minister-in-waiting and has even undergone a detoxification exercise in Bengaluru to give the impression that he is turning over a new leaf.
She said Mann’s recent actions, including ‘hallucinations of becoming the chief minister’, indicate that his drinking habit has not been cured.
“In fact, it seems to have become worse. He should first worry about not appearing drunk in Parliament, instead of dreaming about being at the helm of an AAP government in Punjab”, she added.
