<p> The Indian government has conveyed its concern to the US administration about the curb on HI-B visa, IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said here on Tuesday. <br /><br /></p>.<p>“We have conveyed our concern with the highest level in the US administration,” the minister told reporters here adding that “Indian IT companies are giving good value addition to US companies”. <br /><br />Last week, the US government said that it will temporarily suspend premium processing of HI-B visas from April 1, eliminating the option of shorter waiting period of the programme that helps highly skilled foreigners work at American firms. <br /><br />Since HI-B visas are highly used by Indian IT companies, the decision of the government has directly hit domestic firms.<br /><br /></p>
