Obscene pics: CID clean chit to Tanveer Sait

The CID has given a clean chit to Primary and Secondary Education Minister Tanveer Sait, who was accused of watching obscene photographs on his mobile phone during Tipu Jayanthi in Raichur in November last year.

A CID official said, during the investigation, it was found that Sait had not downloaded photographs, but was just scrolling down. The photos were sent by one of his friends, whose statement was also recorded.

Sait faced backlash after TV channels caught him scrolling images on his mobile phone.
