<p>High on the agenda is a two-day national seminar on “Good Governance: Dimensions and Challenges” to be held at the college auditorium in Gayathrinagar on March 26 and 27.<br /><br />Former Chief Justice of India, S Rajendra Babu will inaugurate the seminar. A series of guest lectures, essay competition and debate competitions are also part of the silver jubilee celebrations. The national seminar is expected to attract academicians, scholars, jurists, administrators, researchers and students.<br /><br />Philosophical perspective and constitutional mandate of good governance; national and international dimensions of good governance and Right To Information; Consumerism and Environmental aspects of good governance will be among the sessions of the seminar. <br /><br />The college has created a Law Forum, which is a board for legal opinion and also a platform for interaction between the faculty and students and legal luminaries. The Legal Aid Cell offers legal assistance to the needy through regular legal aid camps and literacy campaigns especially in the rural areas. <br /></p>
