JOIN USA creative writing workshop ‘The Long and Short of it: The Art of writing a Short Story’ by Jahnavi Barua will be held on March 17 to 19 from 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm at British Council Bengaluru.
In this intensive writing workshop, where all aspects of the short story will be explored through a series of engaging lectures, lively discussions and individual participation.
The core elements of a short story and how they should be strung together to create that all elusive satisfying short story will be the main focus of the workshop. At the end, participants will be required to put to use all that they have learnt and write a short story that can then be shared and critiqued by their fellows.
Jahnavi Barua is an award winning author based in the city. This workshop is open
for 18 years and above years old. The registration fee is Rs 3,500 per person (for
library members) and Rs 4,000 per person (for others).
