A hotel in Jaipur was sealed and two staff members were arrested on Sunday night for allegedly cooking and selling beef.
Over 100 cow vigilantes protested outside Hotel Hayat Rabbani in Jaipur on Sunday night. Officers of the Jaipur Municipal Corporation, accompanied by Ward Councillor Nirmala Sharma, also reached the venue and sealed the hotel after asking the guests to leave.
An FIR was lodged on Monday at the Sindhi Camp Police Station. However, SHO Manphool told DH that the food samples collected were prima facie found to be that of chicken.
