A tryst with literature

The Department of Humanities (English) at St Claret College conducted its annual English Conference recently. The context of this year’s conference was ‘Literature in a Globalised World: Roots and Routes’.

Dr Yogananda Rao, associate professor of English at Jain University, was the chief guest and keynote speaker at the event. The conference was a grand success with more than 200 participants from various colleges in Bengaluru and outside presenting papers.
