Hutti notch nervy win

 Adarsh’s all-round effort went in vain as LRDE Sports Club went down to Hutti Gold Mines Cricket Club by two wickets in the KSCA Group II, Division II cricket tournament here.

Riding on Adarsh’s century (124), LRDE, who batted first, posted a healthy total of 218/4 in 30 overs.

In response, Kariyappa (50) along with Azmath Ali (39) led the attack for Hutti as they slammed 221 for the loss of eight wickets, overhauling the target in 20 overs.

For LRDE, Shiva Kumar claimed a four wickets (4/56) while Adarsh chipped in with two (2/42).
