A decision on the interest evinced by seven rebel JD(S) MLAs to join the Congress will be taken after discussion with the party high command, KPCC President G Parameshwara said on Thursday.
Speaking to reporters here, Parameshwara did not set any time-frame nor committed himself on whether the Congress party will welcome the JD(S) rebels into the party. He also said 20 BJP leaders had expressed their willingness to enter the Congress fold but did not reveal any names.
The JD(S) has suspended seven of its MLAs for cross-voting in the last Rajya Sabha polls. The seven MLAs had met Parameshwara recently.
