Some legendary weaves

Kanakavalli will be holding an exhibition of fine ‘kanjivaram’ silk saris from April 7 to 9 at the Rain Tree Store.

The exhibition will feature legendary weaves from the land of a thousand temples, which will include a range of beautiful drapes.

These saris will be available in an array of rich hues, featuring both classic and contemporary designs.  Kanjivaram silk saris in the price range of Rs 6,500 to Rs 60,000 and cotton saris in the price range of Rs 3,500 to Rs 5,000 will be available at the
event. Blouse material of one metre, priced Rs 900 upwards, will also be showcased.
