Narendra Modi's brother, family visit Hampi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s brother Prahladbhai Damodardas Modi visited the temple town of Hampi along with his family on Sunday.

The family visited the Virupaksha temple at 7.30 am and offered prayers to the deity. They later went to the Krishna temple, Krishna Bazaar, Badavi Linga, Queen’s bathing ghat, Kamala Mahal, Vijaya Vithala temple, stone chariot and the Saptaswara Mantapa.  Prahladbhai was accompanied by his wife Bhagavantiben and 10 others.

Prahladbhai told reporters that his visit to the holy, historical town was an unforgettable moment. The family later left for Sringeri. They are on a 15-day tour of South India during which they will go to Mysuru, Mangaluru, Shravanabelagola, Puducherry and Kanyakumari.
