Yogi issues code of conduct for his ministers

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued a code of conduct for his Cabinet colleagues, marking out the dos and don’ts.

The code of conduct, which has been orally conveyed to all the ministers, asks them to stay away from getting into contracts and avoid attending lavish parties.

Sources said the ministers have also been directed not to accept gifts that are more than Rs 5,000 in value.

The ministers must deposit expensive gifts in the treasury.

The chief minister has also asked the ministers to stay at government-run circuit houses during official visits and avoid using expensive hotels.
