My comment on Modi has deep undertones: minister

 Higher Education Minister Basavaraj Rayareddy has said that his statement on Prime Minister Narendra Modi had deep undertones.

“You have to understand my feelings. I won’t ever wish something bad for someone. I have a lot of respect for Modi and I wish him a healthy life for 100 years,” the minister said here on Saturday. While reacting to the removal of red beacon from vehicles, Rayareddy on Friday had said, “Let Modi die if he wants power”. The minister said that his intention was clear and all he meant was that security cover provided to VIPs should be done away with.”
