Stray incidents of violence were also reported from sensitive pockets in wards across the city.
In Dodannanagar Ward 47, JD (S) candidate Rajani Murthy protesting against the Congress Party and alleged that the party was “buying” EPIC cards for Rs 500 each.
“We were able to catch the people who were buying the EPIC cards and hand them over to the police. As many as 50 EPIC cards were recovered from them,” claimed Murthy, husband of Rajani Murthy.
