Dastkar is organising ‘Silk and Cotton Expo 2017’ at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath till April 30, 11 am to 8 pm.

The exhibition offers a wide variety of unique handloom products. Fabrics such as chikan, Banarasi silk, block print, Bandhej, Kota, Daria, Bandhni, Kutch embroidery, traditional Chanderi silk, Maheswari, Batik Print, Tussar, Baluchari, Dhakai Jamdani and Gadwal silk will be available.

Other than fabrics, visitors can also choose their pick from Khurja pottery, Saharanpur wrought iron furniture, Kashmiri silk carpets, Merino wool and silk carpets, imitation jewellery, accessories, Madhubani paintings from Bihar, hand carved wooden idols from Andhra Pradesh and more.
