The crowd was a mix of friends and family of the lead cast who were keen on watching Madhuri and Ruby on the big screen. On the occasion, Ashok Kheny, the producer said, “I think the potential of showbiz in India has just begun. We hope to
be in the forefront to represent Indian entertainment worldwide.”
When her turn came, Madhuri said, “I have been associated with this movie for almost two years now. I am a Bangalorean so I came here personally to launch the movie as Arbaaz (the hero) is out of India currently. I am not making any more commitments as of now and am just doing everything to promote this movie.” The premiere started off with a small introduction of the movie by Kheny, “This is a fun movie that can be enjoyed the family. It has everything from stunts to romance and music.”
The screening was greeted by whistles and clapping at moments when Ruby made her first appearance in the movie, as a control freak and abusive wife. Soon it was time for Madhuri to garner the accolades when she came on screen as Twinkle Khanna, a supermodel.
