Goods train derails near Kalaburagi

A goods train derailed at Dudhani railway station in Solapur district of Maharashtra, bordering Afzalpur taluk in Kalaburagi district, following brake failure on Sunday night.

Six wagons were derailed. Following the derailment, movement of 12 trains have been changed while train service between Wadi, Latur and Manmad has been cancelled.

The derailment has affected train service from Mumbai to southern cities such as Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai, said an official from Central Railways. Railway officials have already began the work to clear the wagons.
