The first day of Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) on Tuesday, was held smoothly across 20 centres in the city.
For the first time, the question papers were printed in both Kannada and English. Biology and Mathematics examinations were conducted on Day One. While 7,818 candidates appeared for Biology, 9,724 candidates appeared for Mathematics. An officer claimed that out of 10,032 registered for the examination, 2,190 did not appear for Biology and 284 for Maths.
Physics and Chemistry examination are scheduled for Wednesday.
