A hurried visit to goldsmith

A girl candidate from the city had to make a hurried trip to a goldsmith, when she was told to remove her earring to gain entry into the examination centre at the Army Public School.

“The earrings were fixed and could not be removed. We had to search for a goldsmith and got them cut. Thankfully, we arrived at the centre by 8.30 am before the gates were closed,” the candidate’s father said.
