It was a testimony to humanity as the farmers who continually appealed to the Forest Department officials seeking protection from the wild elephants, that destroyed their crops and threatened their lives observed the death ceremony.
Forest Department officials also participated in the ceremony . On the same day it was also decided to construct a tombstone in memory of the elephant.
