Surveillance: State gets KSHRC notice

KSHRC Chairman S R Nayak in an order on June 2, stated that any unauthorised or illegal surveillance of a person is a serious violation of Human Right guaranteed in the Constitution.

“It was widely reported in the press that certain ministers were under surveillance by sleuths of the State Intelligence branch...The Commission wishes to know from the Government of Karnataka its response,” the order stated.
