<p> The Upparpet police have arrested a suspected chain snatcher and seized gold chains worth Rs 17 lakh. The suspect, Babu H K alias Pulsar Babu (36), is a resident of Honnanayakanahalli in Ramanagaram taluk. <br /><br />He used to ride a bike, frequently changing its number plate, while snatching chains. He had robbed women in Vijayanagar, Rajarajeshwarinagar, Basaveshwaranagar, Cottonpet, Jnanabharathi, JP Nagar, Puttenahalli, Chandra Layout, Konanakunte and Girinagar areas, said the police. <br /><br />On a tip-off, the police raided a building in Gottigere on Bannerghatta Road and arrested him. He confessed to the crime during questioning, added the police.</p>
