PFI denies involvement in JJ Nagar violence

 
Asim Sharief, PFI's Bangalore District Secretary declined that the organisation and its offshoot SDPI’s involvement in the violent activities.

Accusing some vested interests of defaming the PFI, Sharief alleged that the organisation's support to SDPI candidates in the BBMP elections had unsettled some political workers who created disturbance.

Condemned

Sharief said that PFI condemned the violence and expressed solidarity with the victims.
“We request the people to not believe in rumours and decline from taking the law into their hands,” added Sharief.
