In West Bengal, the Front will hold demonstrations before central government offices on the day, Left Front chairman Biman Bose told newspersons after a meeting of the Front here.
On April 18, the student and youth wings of the Front will hold protests across the state and the constituent parties would do a follow up on April 23 and 30, he said.
Bose said the meeting also discussed the ensuing elections in 81 civic bodies in the state.
"The Left Front will decide on candidates for the elections on a consensus basis," he said.
