<p>A 31-year-old Indian and his son were found dead in a suburban Detroit pool located in the Glens of Northville apartment complex in Novi on Wednesday.<br /><br />According to American Telangana Association representatives, Nagaraju Surepalli and his three-year-old son Anant Sai were found floating in the complex pool around 4 pm, with the child’s tricycle at the bottom of the pool.<br /><br />While there were no witnesses to the incident, a couple who was passing by the apartment complex saw the floating bodies and informed the police.<br /><br />According to reports, Surepalli, a resident of Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh, was an employee of Infosys on a work visa in the US. The child might have accidentally fallen into the pool while riding his tricycle on the deck. <br /><br />“Initial findings suggested that the father, who is not conversant with swimming, might have dived in to save the child and drowned,” Novi Police chief said in a statement.<br /><br />“This particular pool does not staff a lifeguard and they were the only occupants in the pool area,” the statement read.<br /><br />Novi Police dispatches said paramedics and the police tried to revive the father and son first before rushing them to Providence Park Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.<br /><br />Meanwhile, a pal of gloom descended on Surepalli’s home in Guntur, where his ailing mother Subhanamma and father Sivalingayya reside.</p>
