Former Rajasthan Chief Minister and Congress leader has criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modis for posting a video on his twitter account of how to practice yoga but being silent over killings of farmers in Madhya Pradesh during their agitation.

Senior Congress leader and AICC General Secretary in a statement said, "Instead of sending out a message of solidarity to our farmers, Modi ji has posted a video on his twitter account of how to practice Shalabasana. Yoga is good for health, no doubt, but killing of farmers is indeed a pressing matter than anything else."

Calling PM Modi's silence on killing of farmers in MP is deafening, Gehlot said farmers have died in the country but PM has not issued any statement. "The farming community across the country is looking at their PM to come out with relief measures or atleast to say a few words of sympathy" he said.

Gehlot on his twitter handle also called both NDA government and Prime Minister insensitive by not issuing a statement for the distressed farmers. "Unfortunately, our very vocal PM has not found time to say a few words of kindness or to feel sorry or sad about the killing of farmers. It is strange to see how NDA government and  its leaders fail to even acknowledge killing or deaths of common people."
