A grub hub tucked in the backlanes of Jeevan Bhima Nagar, ‘Leon Grill’ serves Turkish and Arabian fast food and even some delicious healthy salads.

The place is always filled with young and enthusiastic school and college-goers. With simple modern wooden benches as seating and a minimal setup, the place is apt to just chill with your buddies and enjoy some great food.

Though it is located in the corner of the street and is a bit compact in terms of space, their service and food keep the patrons from complaining. The most sought-after dishes here include the ‘Peri peri chicken doner wrap’, made of crispy, hot and spicy boneless chicken bits wrapped in mayonnaise, vegetables and pickles, completed with soft pita bread. The ‘chicken doner salads’, a variation on healthy salads, are a mix of garlic sauce, mayonnaise, greens, pickles and their signature juicy chicken pieces.

The fast food joint also offers chicken and lamb ‘rice bowls’ and burgers that make for a perfect late lunch.

The rice bowls come with a good helping of peri peri rice and fresh meat or falafel. They also have a section known as ‘Signature Sides’ that they believe are the universal favourites in Middle Eastern and international cuisine. However, it is their peri peri items that take the cake, given the special mix they use. Students and office-goers find the food economically affordable and satisfying here.
For those who would like to enjoy their meal with a group of friends, they also offer ‘Leon Special Platters’ that bring together the entire experience into one big platter of meats, salad and fries. These are quite reasonably priced as also are the combo meals with a burger, side, fries and Coke. Speaking of beverages, they do not have a large selection but just the classic lime soda, mojito and cold drinks.

The regulars here suggest that it is a perfect eatery for non-vegetarians. However, the choices for vegetarians are limited. It is located at 1671, Jeevan Bhima Nagar. They also have outlets in HSR Layout, Koramangala and St Marks Road.
