Eateries ordered to provide pure drinking water for free

The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike Commissioner N Manjunatha Prasad on Friday ordered the hotels and the restaurants to provide pure drinking water free to their customers.

The order is based on the direction by the Bengaluru Urban District Consumer Redressal Forum on a petition by a social activist Sudha Katwa. All the hotels should have free drinking water facility and put up a proper display board so that the customers can see it clearly.
