Noorondu Nenapu (Hundred and one memories), which takes its title from one of late Vishnuvardhan’s hit songs, is a nostalgic campus movie where a young bunch of alumni reminiscences their fun-filled college days and the lessons life has taught them.

The mushy love triangle is a remake of the Marathi hit Duniyadari, based on the novel by Marathi writer Suhas Shirvalkar.

Set in 80s, Noorondu Nenapu spotlights on the exciting world of college teens, their friendships, first crush, campus rivalries and heartbreaks. It revolves around Shreyas Bahadur who is indoctrinated in the mischievous ways of campus life by college rowdy DSP aka Dayanand Shankar Patil.

As they go about their routine in a footloose manner, Shreyas falls head over heels for medico Shruti Urs. Meenakshi then falls for Shreyas, but is spurned by him.

Noorondu is primarily a Meghana Raj (she is indeed an actress of merit) and Chetan film. Debutant Rajvardhan as Dayanand Shankar Patil also shows promise.
