Last Updated 16 June 2017, 08:47 IST
The Opposition DMK members staged a walkout from Tamil Nadu Assembly for the second consecutive day after Speaker Dhanapal once again refused their request to raise the issue of two AIADMK MLAs, who allegedly confesed that huge money was offered to the legislators for supporting chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami during their stay at Koovathur resort ahead of floor test in the House during February 2017.

Soon after the question hour, DMK working president and the leader of the Opposition M K Stalin showed a CD which he claimed to contain the evidence with regard to 'cash for MLAs' issue.

However, when Dhanapal refused to accept the CD and not allowed to discuss the issue, the DMK members staged a walkout from the House.

Later, speaking to the reporters Stalin said that he asked the Speaker to go through the CD of the sting operation and said the issue could be discussed later.

"He (Dhanapal) refused to accept it", he added.
