Young man describes his struggle and inspiration with Forrest Gump

People with a strong grasp of English often ridicule or belittle people who have a shaky grasp over the language. People have come to associate the knowledge of a language as one of the hallmarks of a person.

However, one young man has learnt to see past the ridicule and belittling with the help of a film: Forrest Gump. The man wrote about his struggle on the Humans of New York facebook page, with a eloquently placed message, showcasing just how he feels that people have become too complicated to enjoy life and how he looks up to Forrest Gump, a man who cares not for these things and just moves forward once he gets something on his mind:

The post received significant support and encouragement from users, some of whom empathized with the man, describing their own struggle owing to their originally weak grasp of English while supporting the man with words like "You got this!" and "Keep going, young man". The post has since been shared over 19,000 times and received much exposure, with support continuing to trickle in.
