The Grammy winning singer has been charged with disorderly conduct for taking her clothes off on a street full of pedestrians and fined USD 500 dollars, reported New York Daily News.
The performance ended with a totally naked Badu pretending to receive a fatal bullet to the head at the spot where JFK was assassinated in 1963, reported Daily Mail online.
The 39-year-old artiste went ahead with the shoot of her new video 'Window Seat' in Dealey Plaza without asking for permits and the 'guerilla style' video was shot in just one take.
The beginning of the video features Badu driving a white car with the famous radio commentary of Kennedy's fateful visit to Dallas.
But as the video progresses, Badu begins to strip and it ends with her falling to the ground naked amid sounds of a gunshot.
Badu can either contest the charge or pay the fine.
