<p>Kavita, married to Dr Rajesh Venugopal lodged a complaint of domestic violence agist the latter within days of tying the knot. She also sought restitution and maintenance, and the matter is pending.<br /><br />Rajesh moved a writ petition saying that he had got a job in Australia and sought directions to the passport office for releasing his passport. He has a valid visa which expires on April 2, 2010 and his work contract expires in February 2011. <br /><br />The Court ordered that the passport be released and he could travel outside the country. <br />However, it stated that Rajesh would have to appear in Court from July 1 for all the hearings. He was directed to deposit Rs two lakh as maintenance amount. <br />Kavita has been allowed to draw 50 per cent of this amount, while the other half will be deposited in a nationalised bank. <br /><br />Rajesh also has to furnish personal bonds for Rs two lakh and Rs 75,000.<br />DH News Service</p>
