2 held for murder

According to the police, the duo hacked Perumal (25) to death with lethal weapons and injured his friend Anand on March 31 and had fled. Based on the inputs given by Anand, the police arrested the duo on Monday in Chikkajala.

Perumal who hailed from Tamil Nadu had came to Bangalore a few months ago and stayed in Vidyanagar Cross.  He was attracted to Muneendra’s sister-in-law, Sumithra (22), who stays in the same area and started having an affair with her.
When it became public Muneendra had warned Perumal who returned to Tamil Nadu, added the police.

Perumal came to Vidyanagar to witness Mariyamma car festival on March 31. He happened to meet Muneendra in the festival and teased him about his sister-in-law. An irked Muneendra decided to eliminate Perumal with help of Gajendra, said the police.
On the same night duo attacked Perumal with lethal weapons. Anand who tried to protect Perumal was also injured. The assailants absconded immediately, added the police.
