No monkey business here

And it’s not just any monkey, but the one that starred in the Hollywood blockbuster — Pirates of the Caribbean.

A scene in the trailer of Housefull involves the star monkey hitting Akshay Kumar and was designed specifically keeping children in mind. Reveals a source, “The monkey in the film is sure to be a hit with the kids. There is also a scene in the trailer with Akshay and the monkey that’s sure to get your ribs tickling.”

Funnily enough, the monkey’s dates seemed to clash with Akshay Kumar’s since the chimp is a star in his own right and hence, the sequence had to be shot in a single day. Sajid Nadiadwala’s romantic comedy entertainer Housefull is directed by Sajid Khan and stars Randhir Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Lara Dutta, Riteish Deshmukh, Arjun Rampal and Jiah Khan.
