Modi to discuss new India with CEOs

After the mega startup meet, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will have a discussion with around 200 young CEOs on how they can drive and deliver change towards New India 2022.

A range of of topics, including building world class infrastructure in India, from rail, roads, airports, energy to legal system, have been assigned to be debated in a two-day long marathon session, at the end of which Modi will sit with the team.

Modi is expected to give a good five-six hours to the young brains from private sector on how to make the government deliver efficiency in the areas of health and nutrition, education and skill development, and soft power to herald a New India by 2022.

The meeting will also review the current state of public-private sector relationship and the changes required to make one supplement another. The programme is being organised by NITI Ayog in its ‘Champions of Change” series.

Ahead of the meeting, the prime minister is expected to hold a dinner for the CEOs on Monday night. Tuesday’s programme is the second such event to be conducted by the Prime Minister.
