<p>The Congress on Monday claimed that the then BJP government led by D V Sadananda Gowda had ordered a CID probe into the charges of denotification of lands meant for forming Shivaram Karanth Layout in Bengaluru by B S Yeddyurappa.<br /><br />“The BJP has charged the Congress government with indulging in vendetta politics. But, the then BJP government had ordered a probe into the issue. Who is indulging in vendetta politics?” Congress MLC V S Ugrappa asked at a press conference here. The MLC also released a copy of the order signed by Gowda in 2012.<br /><br />Ugrappa also claimed that Gowda had stated in the Assembly that he will order a CID probe and even directed the Urban Development department to take appropriate steps in this regard.<br /><br /></p>
