JOIN USD S Research Centre celebrated its seventh anniversary recently. The celebration was made special by the presence of team members and cancer survivors Geetha, Chandramouli and Udayshankar to name a few.
A cultural programme was organised in honour of cancer fighters which included motivational songs and dance dramas with the aim of providing hope and strength to them. Some cancer survivors treated at D S Research Centre and their family members were present and they shared their stories with the gathering. “We had lost all hope after the cancer diagnosis and treatment. It’s only because of D S Research Centre treatment that we are standing here. It’s a miracle. The place has given us hope and courage to fight this deadly disease,” said the survivors who attended the programme.
D S Research Center is a premier research institute. It was established in the year of 1965 under the guidance of Dr. Uma Shankar Tiwari and Prof Shiva Shankar Trivedi.
It has five units throughout the country.
They are located at Varanasi, Kolkata, Guwahati, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Hyderabad.
