“Increased openness to global stocks, accelerated real estate activity, backed up by strong wealth effects reflected in the upcoming stratum of the economy, coupled with high and resilient growth expectations, call for having a consistent statistical measure of house prices in India,” the report stated.The report which is availabile on the RBI has sought comments of the public on or before April 30.
