<p>Wednesday’s cloud seeding resulted in 2-30 mm rains in Magadi, Ramanagaram, Nelamangala, Maddur and Mandya regions, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj dept has claimed.<br /><br />Cloud seeding resumed Thursday with the aircraft firing 10 flares into five rain-bearing clouds at Belur (near Saligrama), Neeragunda (near Dodda), Chatchatna Halli (near Halebid) and Beechanahalli (near Kudur), officials said.<br /><br />“The aircraft flew for two hours. Rainfall details will be available on Friday,” RDPR chief engineer (rural water supply) Prakash Kumar said. The Rs 35-crore Project Varshadhare is a 60-day exercise targeting the river basins of Cauvery, Malaprabha and Tungabhadra.</p>
